At the beginning of April 2010, ??The Production Line of steel Pipe?? which was developed by Hefei Metalforming Group won the first prize of science and technology progress in Hefei City 2009.
Hefei Metalforming Group had taken nearly a year to design it through researching many fields like machinery, electricity, automatic control, hydraulics etc. It is suitable for stamping and straightening of parts like steel pipe with large caliber and long shaft in military, energy, mechanical processing industry etc.
This straighter of steel pipe is the largest in China and has a lot of advances like: the hydraulic press can shift in additional worktable; on-line measurement system is installed in straighter; steel pipe or shaft can be straightened within whole length. Comparing with external straightening technique which is that hydraulic press is not movable, the straighter has high performance of straightening steel pipe and shaft with large bending and can substitute the imports to improve the development of equipment manufacturing industry.
